Screen Scroll Centrifuge
A continuously operating filtration centrifuge using a screen and differential-speed scroll to separate and convey solids.

What this machine is designed to do.
Relatively coarse, free-draining particles where some mechanical handling of the solids is acceptable.
- Continuous material handling avoids a repeated batch cycle.
- Screen filtration provides a route for dewatering suitable crystals.
- Scroll transport links separation to controlled solids discharge.
- Wear-protection measures can be matched to abrasive duties.
Working principle
The feed enters the rotating separation zone. Liquid passes through the screen while the scroll conveys retained solids toward discharge. Relative motion between the screen basket and scroll controls conveying. Screen openings, the solids bed and the feed distribution all influence retention and dewatering.
Selection boundaries
This is not the same as a solid-bowl decanter. Very fine particles can escape the screen, and fragile particles may be damaged. Measure feed distribution, filtrate solids, moisture and attrition across the operating range.

What determines the final capacity?
Feed properties, the required product quality and the complete operating cycle or continuous operating window. Catalogue dimensions and rated values do not replace a representative material test.
Can this be supplied as a complete system?
The scope can be discussed around feed handling, separation, washing where applicable, discharge and controls. The quotation should identify every included item and each buyer-supplied interface.
Are special materials and safety configurations standard?
They must be specified for the material, site and selected model. Ask for the exact contact materials, seals, electrical requirements and supporting documents in the proposal.

What should the trial establish?
Agree the feed envelope, product target and complete equipment boundary. Compare alternatives if the material does not suit this principle.
