RCF versus RPM: why speed alone is misleading
Rotational speed describes revolutions per minute.

Horizontal basket filtration with a repeated feed, wash, dry-spin and peeler-discharge cycle for crystalline suspensions.

Horizontal filtration
Bulk chemicals and other filterable solids requiring repeatable washing and cake discharge.
Liquid passes through a filter medium lining the horizontal basket while solids accumulate as cake. The selected recipe controls feed and wash stages and the duration of dry spinning. A peeler removes the cake and directs it to a discharge chute or screw. Back-blowing or other specified measures can assist filter-medium regeneration.
The scraper, discharge system and residual heel can influence crystal breakage and cycle time. Confirm the permitted speeds for each stage in the actual machine documentation; catalogue wording is not an operating instruction.
Form a distributed cake.
Remove mother liquor.
Displace soluble impurities.
Reduce retained liquid.
Transfer the solid product.
Prepare the filtering surface.
Conceptual batch-filtration sequence. Stage order, speeds and timing depend on the selected machine and approved recipe.

Discuss your process
Feed properties, the required product quality and the complete operating cycle or continuous operating window. Catalogue dimensions and rated values do not replace a representative material test.
The scope can be discussed around feed handling, separation, washing where applicable, discharge and controls. The quotation should identify every included item and each buyer-supplied interface.
They must be specified for the material, site and selected model. Ask for the exact contact materials, seals, electrical requirements and supporting documents in the proposal.
CONFIRM THE PROCESS FIT
Agree the feed envelope, product target and complete equipment boundary. Compare alternatives if the material does not suit this principle.
