What matters in the process
The HUADA JY catalogue describes powder storage, metering, wetting, dissolution, maturation and solution storage functions. The appropriate preparation and maturation conditions depend on the polymer. Water supply, powder handling, mixing and transfer to dosing pumps must be coordinated. Excessive or inadequate mixing can affect a preparation, so use the polymer supplier’s instructions rather than a universal recipe.
A practical example
A plant may require a steady dosing stream while a make-down section prepares the next volume. The storage and preparation sequence must support that operating pattern. If the water supply or powder feeder cannot meet the maximum demand, the dosing pump’s nominal capacity does not solve the limitation.
What to check or specify
- Define active-polymer demand and selected solution range.
- Confirm polymer preparation requirements.
- Provide water quality, pressure and available flow.
- Specify storage, dosing pumps and control interfaces.
Turn the result into a decision
Request a preparation-system balance and sequence description as part of the package. Distinguish usable solution output from tank volume and identify the conditions supporting the rated capacity. Agree alarms and responses for loss of water, powder or prepared solution before commissioning.
