Vertical filtration

What this machine is designed to do.

Batch crystal recovery; repeated product campaigns; processes where residual heel affects filtration or cleaning.

Bag movement addresses residual cake after scraper discharge.
Bottom discharge connects to a suitable receiving hopper or conveyor.

Working principle

Slurry enters the rotating basket and forms a cake on the filter cloth. Mother liquor passes through the cloth and basket. The cycle can include cake washing and dry spinning. After the main cake is scraped out at the specified discharge speed, the bag-pulling mechanism moves the cloth to release remaining solids. Each phase is sequenced by the control system.

Selection boundaries

Cake release depends on adhesion, particle properties and cloth selection. A catalogue removal percentage is not a universal process guarantee. Confirm recoverable product, filtrate clarity and the complete cycle during trials.
