What matters in the process
A peeler provides stage-by-stage flexibility for feeding, washing and spinning. A pusher needs sufficiently stable feed and a cake that can drain and move under the pushing action. Fines, compressibility, crystal strength and liquor viscosity are therefore central comparison inputs. A continuous upstream crystallizer does not automatically require a pusher; a buffered batch arrangement may still be a better match.
A practical example
For a crystal with demanding impurity removal, trial both the required wash ratio and the resulting product moisture. For a free-draining bulk salt at a steady feed, examine continuous cake transport and fines in the filtrate. Compare the complete material balance, including any product dissolved by washing.
What to check or specify
- Measure permeability and crystal-strength behaviour.
- Specify washing and final impurity targets.
- Provide concentration and feed-variation limits.
- Evaluate product breakage after actual discharge.
Turn the result into a decision
GKH or GK and HR represent different routes within the HUADA portfolio. A defensible shortlist explains why one route matches the material, how upstream fluctuations are managed and what quality guarantees are conditional on the tested feed.
