Siphon Peeler Centrifuge

Starch and crystalline products where effective cake washing and final dewatering are central selection criteria.

Working principle
The cake is formed and washed in the rotating basket. Filtrate is withdrawn through a siphon or skimming arrangement. Adjusting the liquid level at the withdrawal point changes the available filtration driving force. This provides another process variable in addition to speed, feed, wash volume and cycle duration.
Selection boundaries
The siphon does not remove the need to test cake permeability. Fine, compressible or blinding cakes may behave differently from free-draining crystals. Product moisture, impurity removal and throughput must be assessed together.

Questions before quotation
What determines the final capacity?
Feed properties, the required product quality and the complete operating cycle or continuous operating window. Catalogue dimensions and rated values do not replace a representative material test.
Can this be supplied as a complete system?
The scope can be discussed around feed handling, separation, washing where applicable, discharge and controls. The quotation should identify every included item and each buyer-supplied interface.
Are special materials and safety configurations standard?
They must be specified for the material, site and selected model. Ask for the exact contact materials, seals, electrical requirements and supporting documents in the proposal.

What should the trial establish?
Agree the feed envelope, product target and complete equipment boundary. Compare alternatives if the material does not suit this principle.
